Taylor Hall – Windsor Spitfires (OHL)

November 4, 2009

Taylor Hall, a top prospect for the 2010 NHL Entry draft signed my 8×10 and card (2/2) through the team’s address in 14 days.  Unfortunately, I spaced out when I was packaging, and didn’t label my SASE well (Do Not Bend!), nor did I throw in an extra piece of flexible cardboard to prevent damage.  I think the photo will come out OK after spending a few hours under a heavy book, but the card is permanently creased.

Dustin Tokarski

June 26, 2009

Tampa Bay Lightning draft pick, Team Canada gold medal winning goalie, and Memorial Cup MVP Dustin Tokarski is going to break the drought that has been in my mailbox, and my blog postings here.  Tokarski signed 3 different cards for me, in 152 days.  I sent the request to his Jr team, the Spokane Chiefs, but this was returned from his hometown of Watson, SK.

Brett Sonne – Calgary (WHL)

March 6, 2009

Brett Sonne signed 1/2 (he kept a copy of the World Junior custom card, as I offered) in 38 days through the Calgary Hitmen.  I am slowly making progress getting these cards signed.  Sonne marks my third, out of 22 guys on the team.

Linden Rowat – Regina (WHL)

February 5, 2009

Linden Rowat signed 1/1 through the Regina Pats in 12 days.  He also added a short note.

Logan Couture – Ottawa (OHL)

January 2, 2009

Logan Couture signed 5/5 through the Ottawa 67s in 52 days.

John Tavares – Oshawa (OHL)

December 19, 2008

John Tavares signed and personalized 2/2 through the Oshawa Generals in 31 days.  Big signature, hopefully there is enough room for Delvecchio on the dual.

Mark Katic – Sarnia (OHL)

December 19, 2008

Mark Katic signed 2/2 through the Sarnia Sting in 31 days.  Another one for my O Canada set.

Jake Allen – Montreal (QMJHL)

December 11, 2008

Jake Allen signed 2/2 through the Montreal Junior in 23 days.  Nice success from the potential Team Canada goalie.

Thomas McCollum – Guelph (OHL)

December 6, 2008

Thomas McCollum signed 4/4 through the Guelph Storm in 23 days.  Cool looking signature.  He was the last pick of the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, and he was just selected to the US team for the WJHC.

Jordan Caron – Rimouski (QMJHL)

December 3, 2008

Jordan Caron signed 2/2 through the Rimouski Oceanic in 15 days.  One of the cards was a dual that had previously been signed by Vincent Lecavalier.  Great success for my set to complete the dual.
